Any way to revert Daz 4.8 to default?
Been using Daz 4.8 for a while, on and off. Finally getting somewhere with it. At first, I downloaded quite a lot of free products and models. Now that I am getting more comfortable with the software, is there a way to eliminate all the old (and not so great content) I put in it? Just start from scratch with the original content. I do have a couple of scenes and saved actors....do I need to do anything special to save those? Thanks for any help.

My best guess is that you'll be able to go into your Content Folder(either in Daz or on your C Drive) and just delete the things you don't want and keep what you do want. Unless you're looking to delete and re-install the 4.8 verison(provided you saved it.) But wait for a few more people to chime in on this before you take a flamethrower to your content files.
I don't see a problem with what DDCreate suggests, but as far as textures go, it would be difficult to locate all the texture associations between the original content and the stuff you added that you want to delete. You would have to be careful not to delete textures for the original content and it's often near impossible to know which texture folder is associated with which charcater or prop.
Obviously the best way would be to clean reinstall 4.8 form the zip.

Be very careful though if you don't have 4.8 backed up and you wipe it you can't go back to 4.8 the only option you will have is to load 4.9. You need to have the 4.8 installer saved and do it from that.
