Hi, very new to Daz, sorry for the beginner question. I have bought the legacy hair from the daz shop, and they look great, but i did not manage to change the colors. I was trying on a genesis 3 female, but nothing. Can somebody try to explain me why? Thanks.
Did you have the hair selected when you tried to change it's color ? The item you are changing in any way needs to be selected for changes to take place, another way of trying it is to use the 'surface tool' from the tools menu and open the 'surface' window from 'windows' tab, now when you select anything in your scene you will see a run down of all the surfaces in that item and once you select the item with your 'surface tool' you should have no problem changing it's color.

Hope that's clear for you dude ?
Yes I think I know what you mean. I'm going to try that. Everything it's a little bit difficult at the moment, and unknown, but is FUN!
Also with a lot of the hair even when you select it and change the color it still looks mostly the same as most of the color change doesn't happen til you render.

Which "legacy hair" are you referring to, specifically, lucartl?

Thank you both!

Ok. Thanks. I'm going to try to do a spot rendering as well.
