Re: Mimic Live - is there a config file for Genesis 2? (.dmc file)

Hey all, so I just recently purchased Mimic Live and I was wondering if anyone knows of a configuration file existing for Gen 2 F/M figures?

Seems they stopped at Michael/Victoria 4, or at least that seems to be the latest profiles included with my purchase. And I don't see any add-on profiles in the Daz store.

If additional dmc's do not exist, is it possible to somehow creat a custom .dmc file?

There are Mimic Live files for 3DUniverse Toon Monster, Dolphin, Genesis 2 and Genesis 3 in your Daz Studio Library - General - Mimic Configs why they are completely separate to all the opther Mimic Configs is a bit beyond me though, I only just found them myself!!

Yes, thanks, I actually found them myself a few weeks after this original post, but I have no idea how to to close or delete threads.

  • Recently purchased and downloaded mimic live. Can't find folder anywhere except in Control panel >uninstall programs. Not on the DAZ studio or any other C:// folder. If I need to extract the zip file from control panel> uninstall program, how is this done? Can't find any help from making a phone call to the help line or email even. Thanks

It's a plug-in - its files go in the Daz Studio application folder, installing manually is not recommended. If you have it installed (as appears to be the case) then start Daz Studio, enter its serial number in Help>About Installed plug-ins, and restart Daz Studio.
