Wich Randomizer did you use? Their are many different at the store.
I tested those I have and they all work fine.
If you mean SimTenero Randomizer, I did notice when I first used it that the character diverged more and more from "normal." I tend to run it such that it "resets" after each run ("Zero Before Randomizing"), and reduce the random factor from .35 to .2. I also "Ignore Right/Left Morphs" for the most part. This gives me fairly consistent random characters. You also need to be somewhat careful with what morphs you choose. If you have multiple morphs selected that do the same thing, they're additive. When you find a good list of morphs for a character, save them ("Save Selections"). Note that I said "normal". That doesn't always mean particularly attractive. I usually run "Randomize Selected Morphs" several times before I get one I like.
One last thing that I've heard, if you're planning on saving the character shape you're well advised to turn on "Use Limits", or you might be in for a surprise once you reload it.
esemwy i ment simterno randomizer when i use it th chararacter becomes twisted i thought u had to click all the options to et a good randomizatiom
Sorry, didn't see your reply until now. I use a fairly small subset of the morphs I have. What seems to work best are the head and body resource kits for the generation you're working on. If you choose too many, especially when many of them do the same thing, I can imagine weird results. And again I think .35 is just a bit too much for most morphs. There's another thread discussing the product that you may want to check out. My advice is to start off simple and work your way up.
My all time favorite tool. Definitely use the zero before randomizing and ignore left right morphs. If you have creature morphs and you don't want them to be part of the mix make sure you leave those unchecked although they can give some very interesting characters. I usually set mine between 20 and 25 35 is too high unless you are looking for something extreme.Try out different combos and when you find setting you like save them like mentioned above. You can save as many different presets as you like. I haven't run into any issues savings a character yet but obviously they will all be different. I have noticed that it doesn't really like V4 but does very well with genesis, gen 2 and 3 as well as some hair and other objects.
