Have been a way from DAZ for a while, the "marcoor-control-room" comes with UBER Environment  Lighting and although I have tried to adjust the intensity on that lighting it is still very dark. Any suggestions? (it also comes with a zillion other point lights and such biuut thought I may be able to use the uber evironment as a global light?)

The brighter picture is the advert. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using iray as the renderer.

TIA

uberEnvironment is 3Delight, not Iray. Does the uberEnvironment load with the scene or via a preset?

Thanks Richard, I see, it came with the scene. In fact if you look at the advert it staes "rendered in iray" This scene has a TON of lights built in I couldnt really go light by light and change all the settings.  I have Reality but it is pretty washed out in the first attempt at the default settings. See below

*EDIT SOLVED* I found that the scenes are labled 3dlight or iray unfrotunately the iray ones are not lit but the 3drender ones are.

There are lights in the Iray. Iray uses lighting a bit different. You can have a object emit light and not need extra lights in the scene. Just make sure you have load the Iray one and have it set to render with Iray and not the 3Delight engine :)

Thanks Ravenheart - Great to hear from you as the creator! Apologies, I have been away from DAZ for a while, have not used it since they brought in iray. I see what you mean now doing a quick test.

One question, I am a fan of the worn look in sci fi but for this scene would you happen to have made a sparkling squeaky clean version of this room? I can go in and clean up the textures myself but was just wondering if you would consider making a clean room version available?

    TIA
