Bryce download, not via DIM?

Hi everybody. I treated myself with the Bryce Pro just now. Now I have a question, does it download and install via the DIM or do I have to go through manual download and install?. Any important threads around to help me doing it right?

    AFAIK   Bryce does come as a manual .exe file. 

    I actually always use manual downloads for everything, but then I have a highly personailised system set up, and no programs go onto my C drive. All my Bryce versions are on D along with Poser, Carrara, Hexagon, Photoshop etc etc.

    Thanks for letting me know, I do like the DIM but I guess I will get it working the traditional style as well, so let the fun begin!
