Any way to use this Carrara item in DS?

I bought this shortly after becoming a Daz member, after purchasing Carrara. I notice it is only .car format. Unfortunately I have not had the motivation to figure it out in Carrara, so I was wondering if Carrara props will work in DS?

Thanks. I'm guessing there would be all kinds of pains & troubles with the materials?

Why pains and troubles,.

the materials (if they are texture maps) will already be supplied with the product,.

if they are Carrara native procedural shaders, then you can select an option in the OBJ export pane,. to convert procedural shaderrs to texture maps.

then you'd load the OBJ into DS and load the texture maps into the surfaces..

Or you could model your own objects in carrara,. export and OBJ to DS and apply shaders there.

For what' it's worth,. you're going backward from Carrara to DS,. rather than using the scene in Carrrara, and adding whatever figures you want and animating , rendering them in carrara.
