Creating/rigging additional body parts?

Hi all, I thought I'll try out geografting by attaching bits and bobs to body parts. However, even after following guides to geograft it, I find that a) They are attached to other non-related body parts. Example would be a male genitalia being attached to the legs. b) Rigging is very difficult and I cannot seem to get how to isolate parts of my obj to each bone and how to link each one. I'd appreaciate the help and I apologize if this question goes against the rules since it's kinda nsfw

  • Firstly, I'd like to ask why you're attaching the genitals to the legs. The hip area would be a better fit, as with the ones Daz 3D supplies in pro bundles. I'm guessing you are using an automatic set-up for the rigging, which means any *ahem* dangling objects would be linked to one leg or the other, as with trousers or skirts. You would need to completely clear the existing rig and start from scratch.

Rigging is not easy, I'll give you that. There's a lot of work to it, including bulge maps and other modifiers to ensure things look right when they bend. There's no one-shot solution, so there's little advice I can offer other than practice.

I did the autorigging via the autofit, which DOES explain the attached dangly bits. So I guess I gotta 'copy' a normal rig including the legs?
