4.9 slow and issues

when I click on 'updates'  , no matter offline or online , the same articles keep showing up , after I click 'install update'  it takes 1000 years to get them 'updated' . AFter it seems the 'update' of the articles succeeded the next time I launch 4.9 the same  'updates' appear in de 'update' pane. Anyone knows why this is the case? Rendering seems overall slower to me , no matter OpenGL or Iray or 3Delight.  All of a sudden I cannot get to load purchased content  to work with it., clicking , re-clicking , re-starting 4.9 , re starting the PC still no results......After a while I found out I had to 'install' the content again.....which is strange.....the thumbnails were not in black&white .

DRM sucks....it is not working and it will never work . Cancel this feature immediately, piracy is not combatted this way, it only slows down the workflow.
