Camera Angle makes floor "disappear"

I made these 2 renders with the only change being the camera perspective/angle of the camera. The more the camera angle changes to a top down, the more the floor seems to disappear and goes into pure black.

I'm figuring it has something to do with the refraction of the floor but I have no idea how to fix it (if that's even possible).

Anybody has a suggestion?

Setup:
- Iray rendering
- Iray lights, no other lights like camera headlamps, spotlights ect.
- Scene assets used: https://www.daz3d.com/private-office

Check the Depth of Field related settings of the Camera: Focal Distance and F/Stop, i.e. try increasing their values until you see the floor ~~

    I tried:

    • Changing focal distance --> no change, issue still occurs
    • Changing F/Stop --> no change, issue still occurs
    • Turning off Depth of Field --> no change, issue still occurs

    I also tried:

    • Adding lights with different angles in the hope this would result in a different light reflection from the floor --> no change, issue still occurs

In the middle of it I changed the focal length from 50mm to 30mm and that seemed to solve the problem but the moment I did a second render with the same settings it didn't work anymore...

BUT: If I cancel a render process in the middle of it, leave the preview window open and then render again (with a second preview window) it suddenly renders the floor. What is that?

I have the private office product. You may attached your scene file in here or save a Camera Preset, attach the preset file in here.
