Are there actual G9 Feminine and Masculine presets?

I could have sworn I saw a F & M figure for G9 somewhere in the depths of my Content, but I can't find them. Am I dreaming?

Not to mention, I see all kinds of figures and clothing for "G9 Feminine" or "G9 Masculine" - is that just an arbitrary label people are applying?

Load a Genesis 9 figure, go to the shaping tab and search for base and hopefully see Base Masculine and Base Feminine as shaping choices

There are a few masculine and feminine character presets included  with the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials now (they were added after the initial release, though, so check you are not mising an update). For this I generally use Samrt Content, typing Starter into the filter box, sine they can be quite tricky to find  in what may be a sea of other presets.

Hmm, don't recall which update was last installed for G9 over here but in the Contents Library I didn't find any base m/f presets -- so I made a couple and they are available over in my 2025 freebie thread in the Freebies forum.

eta: Downloaded new files, under Characters one has those additional figures -- but still not a 'base feminine/masculine' preset. Not a biggie, I made a couple so now we do if we want them.

That's right, there isn't a preset with the basic shapes but no maps or other settings - I wasn't sure what was being asked for.

You can either load a character or the base Genesis 9 figure.  Let's say you load Kat-set her body slider to 0.  But keep the Base Feminine/Masuline set to 100% and that'll give you a pretty good idea.  Loading a base figure will have no shaping morphs so you can go right in and make your adjustments.

Me either, on hind-sight your answer is more likely what the OP was after.

Well that's weird...

I just started to use Dreamlight's layout and very few of those Essential characters were showing. I reset everything and then suddently the characters were showing up again. I wonder why.

Yes, AOBB removed her wonderful freebies sometime ago. I have also removed most or all of my older freebies as well. Somethings may get redone and uploaded somewhere, but then again maybe not. We'll see what happens as time progresses eh. Generally speaking anytime you see free "fanart" that you may be interested in, grab it while it's there. Such things seldom stay available forever for any one of a number of reasons - one of which is [in my case] storage space lol ...
