3DConnexion SpaceMouse not working

Hello. I am new to Daz. I recently got a 3dconnexion SpaceMouse Compact and I can't get it to work with Daz.

I just downloaded and installed the 3dconnexion driver. The SpaceMouse is connected. It works in other apps, including the trainer, viewer, and puzzle from 3dconnexion, and it works inside Blender as well.

But inside Daz Studio it does nothing. I've tried searching for anything online-- is there some special Daz driver I need? I've restarted my computer several times, restarted Daz several times, tried unplugging and plugging the SpaceMouse several times but nothing helps.

 

I saw another thread on here before about SpaceMouse and it said sommething about checking "Device Settings" from the Edit menu in Daz. When I do that it says "no devices installed."

 

Any help? I'm super new to all this. Thx so much!

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear that your SpaceMouse isn't working - it's a great addition to my creative process (even with it's "undo shortcomings"). I checked the Device Settings you mention, and sure enough the SpaceMouse is there - although not quite...?

    I don't dare click anything out of fear of loosing my SpaceMouse - but when I installed it initially, it was recognized and I was able to configure it; so I suspect newer DS versions have worse support for it (I have upgraded this Beta install which could be why I have kept "partial" compatibility") 

    I am currently running DS Beta 4.23.0.4
