Bones "Select Children" equivalent in Blender?

Hi,
I've searched for an answer, but couldn't find one;
Does Blender have a similar function to select all children of a bone like DS does?
Maybe via an addon?
Thanks!

You want to right-click on a parent in outliner > Select Hierarchy... ?
I don't see that option with a bone selected.
Oh, I missed that you said bones... Switch to Pose Mode, Select > Select Grouped > Color
I'm using a G8 figure imported with Diffeo, and I don't have such color coding.
I don't understand... G8 imported via Diffeo also have the bones of the same color, no difference in terms of the operation.
Or, you can directly press A in Pose Mode, or Marquee / Frame select all bones in viewport.
When I select the Pelvis bone and then hit Select / Select Grouped / Color, the entire skeleton gets selected.
As to be expected, since the bones aren't color coded. At least in my Blender installation.
Then I don't know other shortcuts.... or define bone color / bone set /, or Shift + Frame Select in Viewport ~~
See if other folks can give some better tricks.
OK, thanks.
I've used Select Children quite often in DS and was hoping to find this in Blender as well.
Can't have 'em all I guess.
edit mode: select > select similar > children
OK, thanks Padone.
I had only played with this when I had already applied an MHX rig to a character.
For me at least, select > select similar > children will select all bones.
Tried it with a non-MHX character and it works as expected.
Probably an issue with changed naming convention I guess.
Oh well.
mhx does use multiple hierarchy layers and constraints to get the job done, so the original daz hierarchy may not be preserved entirely, or at all. For example the clavicle has no children in mhx.
p.s. When you generate mhx there's the "keep daz rig" option, so you can keep the original daz rig and use mhx as a control rig.
OK, thanks Padone.
The workflow I'm using is to make an upper and lower body Bone Collection to quickly apply upper / lower body poses from DAZ to get the initial pose started, and to use the MHX rig to refine it.
This is actually working really well, except that I have to select the upper / lower MHX rig's bones in the viewport in order to make the collections and apply partial poses to them instead of the original DAZ rig.
No big deal, and I'm very pleased as how easy it becomes to pose an MHX character.
I have a fairly large DAZ pose folder and was wondering if it would be beneficial to add these poses to a Blender pose library for faster access, but the [Import Pose Library] option has either been removed from [DAZ Runtime] / Posing or its location has changed in 4.3.x?
I believe it is "daz runtime > posing > import asset", there were recent improvement and now morphs are imported as well into blender assets, not only bone poses.
I'll take a look at that - thanks Padone!
In Blender, if you select a bone in edit mode, 'Shift G' will give you the option to select the children of that bone.
UEFY by Rakiz has an option to 'merge weight paint', in case that was your intent. You can merge the weights of the child bones to the selected bone, and then delete the child bones. There may be other add-ons out there that do the same thing but since I already had this add-on, that is what I used.
@Krys Kryngle
The "issue" is that a character with MHX rig no longer has the same functionalty than without it. Should have figured that I suppose.
It's no big deal, just wondering. Too many years of Daz I guess.
