Unreal vs. Unity with DAZ figures?

Is it easier to use DAZ characters in Unreal or Unity using the bridge plugin?
I want to try to get a basic character in a game engine, but I just don't know which one to choose, or which one is free or less cost to start out.
Any info would really help me to get started on this journey.
I was also wondering if MetaHuman for Unreal is a good way to create a player.
Does Unity have their own figure creator like MetaHuman?

I personally absolutely despised using Unreal editor and found Unity much more straightforward to use, for whatever that's worth to you. MetaHumans are good for filling out a crowd, but I found them too restrictive for my purposes. You get a very flexible and realistic head on one of three bodies with a limited selection of hair and clothing. I haven't checked to see if Unity has anything comparable to MetaHumans.
Thanks!
I've heard that about the Unreal Engine, so I decided to go with Unity.
Unity is also easier on system requirements I have discovered. So I think it's a good place to start.
Now I have to learn game creation with Unity. Easy right? LOL
