XI Japanese Town - Did anyone check the text on this?

Like the title says, did anyone check the text on this? It's pretty darn bad. The restaurant has a billboard that basically says "Japanese language - Chinese resturant" and banners that say "Japanese language - High end Japanese cuisine". One of the buildings has the text of "High speed", "Heaven" or "Paradise" and "House" :| The "high speed" is the same kanji one normally uses for delineating the "local" vs the "rapid service" trains.

    ... well, while I can't read Japanese myself, I think I'll take that as enough reason to pick the other Daz+ item to trigger the sales deal.

    I can't read Japanese or Chinese myself, nor do I know anyone who does. Even so, the two times I have used assets with these languages I have swapped out the text in them for my own (google-translated) versions. Most people whould probably have said that was a complete waste of time and effort for no apparent gain - but I am glad that this thread proves that there is some merit to doing that :)

    On one hand, it's strange that the Japanese translate to those generic words, but on the other hand, I think it's hilarious.  Xivon makes some really amazing products so I give it on pass and consider it intentionally funny.

    About like this one. (Finland has two official languages, Finnish and Swedish. The Finnish names are there, and in Swedish it says "Same in Swedish" for each title.)

    Reminds me of a holiday in Denmark, when watching TV a swedish movie with danish subtitles was shown... and for me what I read was exactly what I heard. But I wisely never mentioned to any danes I had conversations with... wink

    In law, official signage in Wales has to be in both English and Welsh.

    Which results in some interesting railway signs when the English is exactly the same as the Welsh:
