Shadow ON Body When Rendering?

Hi, so i am having a problem when i render. I keep getting a shadow everytime in the same place (right shoulder) i have tried changing the skin, changing the lighting around, turning it on and off but its still there. I really want to get rid of it as its ruining my renders. Can anyone help?

The shadow may be coming from light that is not immediately obvious.

First, is this Iray? When asking for rendering help, always provide the renderer you are using.

Assuming Iray, one source of light can be from the Environment choices in the Render panel. This shadow looks fairly stark, so it might be that the light is from the sun. To disable sunlight, choose Scene Only. (There are other ways, but this is the easiest to do as a test). A sun positioned above or slightly behind the character will produce these kinds of shadows, as the body parts block the light.

Though this doesn't appear to be your issue in this case, unsuspecting light can also come from the camera-mounted headlamp. You can turn the headlamp off by choosing the General tab in the Render panel, and setting Auto Headlamp to Never.
