Michael 3 clothes, will they fit newer generations?
Hey Guys and Gals,
I found a clothing item I need for a current project, and I could see using it a moderate amount of time down the line too as it seems one of a kind (I found nothing like it anywhere else), but it is for M3, whom I don't have, but don't mind picking up if need be.
However, before I do, I was wondering if M3 clothes this old might fit any newer figures.
Thanks

With the M3 shape for genesis you get a clone to autofit M3 clothes to genesis 1: http://www.daz3d.com/v3-and-m3-shapes-for-genesis
If you want to fit them to G2M or G3M you'll need to do that in multiple steps (from M3 to Genesis then from Genesis to G2M or G3M), or create a M3 clone for the newer figure yourself.
Thanks Leana, that is food for thought. I'm just not sure how much I'd use that product for though. At this time I own no M3 clothes, probably wouldn't need to purchase any in the future. However I'm not going to go to any troubles to attempt any conversions and etc to get them to fit, so I'd want to keep it simple, using what u mentioned or just buying M3 base. If they won't fit any other figures, out of the box so to speak, then I'll have to decide which way to go.
Btw, the product that I need is this: http://www.daz3d.com/shepherd-for-m3
I searched Daz, rendo and rdna and couldn't find any shepherd style clothing at all, except the above mentioned item. If anyone knows of some "quality" shepherd type clothes, I'd appreciate any leads.
The only one I know is the DS dynamic one, available in this bundle: http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/sale.php
The headwear is in the freebies.
Thanks again Leana,
After quite a bit of thought I decided to go ahead and purchase the auto-fit clones item you mentioned and that has worked out good on the project. Just wanted to say thanks.
Glad I could help :)
