How do I use "Per Texture Thresholds"?
I'm not clear on how this works.
How do I set the compression level per texture?
All I'm seeing is the option to turn it on, but nothing about how to tell it which textures to compress or not compress.

I **think** that Daz Studio decides what compression to use for each texture file, based on the size of that texture file. What you are setting is the size it should use to determine whether to do medium or high compression. It would be good to hear from someone who really knows, though.
Yea, I'm assuming thats the case.
It's global for the whole scene.
I'm guessing that I set it to 4k and it compresses everything over that threshold.
I was hoping it was really "per texture" were as we would haave a way to tag a texture so it wouldn't be.
For example, I want the 4k textuers on my character to not be compressed, but the ones on the table that is in the background and blurrted mostly anyway can be.
I'm not seeing a way to tag or label a set of textures or what the tag or label should be.
As I recall Normals maps are not compressed, regardless.
Thank you Richard and Barbult.
I think I've found a happy medium with "Medium (global)"
It conserves VRAM sufficiently for my needs (12GB RTX 3060, 96GB system RAM) and I'm not noticing any compression artifacts in final renders.
I'll keep experimenting with it in the mean time.
