how to switch to a new drive quick and easy?

I run DAZ off an external HD. The program is on the pc, but all the assets are on external. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it changed from G to F. Now Daz isn't finding any of my stuff. No figures, none of the custom UV edits I save in another folder, nothing. How do I quickly and EASILY move everything back? I already tried changing the letter itself, but it is saying it's unavailable.

That means something else is using that drive letter - change it, then chnage the content drive to use the now free identifier. You can tell the system to always use the specified identifiers for the two devices.

I found that for some reason google drive, which i didn't really use, had stolen the G letter. I was able to fix it by uninstalling it.

Easiest way I found to prevent that ever happening, is to set your runtime drive to be Z. Fat chance you will accidentally plug in that many thumb drives, google drive etc to fill all those letters up lol
