You can directly filter by "japanese" in this store and select Characters > Humans > Feminine in Category list ...

That is, in a literal sense, a thing that one can do, but how useful has the store search ever been? How many characters actually include the specific ethnicity/nationality the character is supposed to represent?

East Asian Women is my go-to for Asian women morphs, and there is also Japanese Face and Body Shapes. HID3D has done a lot of specifically Japanese characters as well.

If you want a Japanese character that looks natural even to Japanese people, I recommend Goanna's products.
Their G8/G8.1 Asian characters look very Japanese. (However, their G9 characters don't look very Japanese.)

Daz Originals' Minami also looks Japanese.

For child characters, Cinnabar's Yamazaki looks Japanese.

Rio and Suzu by HID3D look like Japanese celebrities.

If you want a Japanese character that fits the image of non-Japanese people like Westerners, "Japanese Face and Body Shapes for Genesis 3 and 8 Female" is a good choice.
However, it doesn't look very Japanese from a Japanese perspective.

I'm also not satisfied by the searhing / filtering features in this store, but this is still an efficient way... let alone there're a few tricks to chase down to more relevant products.

Now with this way, nearly 200 products are listed in which the ones you guys proposed are included. No harm to try.

Besides, I live in Asia and have quite a lot of Japanese friends, as well as I speak Japanese. Quite a few of the products in this store related to "Japanese people" were poorly made, frankly speaking, for instance, some are not "japanese girls" (even if with sort of Japanese names) but just "ugly Japanese women".... from the perspective of Asian aesthetics ~~

Good recommendation ! And they can be further well-blended as well.

BTW, Goanna and Cinnabar are both friends of mine. They're talented PAs ~~

Yes, I agree they are both amazing PAs.
I use a lot of their characters in my work.
Allison, created by Cinnabar, is my absolute favorite. And Goanna's characters fit so well in scenes with a Japanese theme.

Well, let's be real.  When it comes to PA produced figures, there's a very definite predilection for certain body types at both DAZ and both of the Rendos, most of which are highly unrepresentational of any real population, while facial features are definitely skewed in the direction of either stylization or "pretty" as dictated by current magazine cover model trends.  But on the other hand, given that quite a few of those characters are made by Asian PAs and many of the other characters are being created using images of various actors and singers as reference, I think it's also due in no small part to the fact that many Japanese and East Asians themselves have a tendency to gravitate towards certain "westernized" features, so if you're looking a popular media rather than standing on a street corner in Shibuya or Harajuku and looking at the average person passing by, there's definitely a skewed perception as to what is "normal".  Let's not forget, after all, that there's a reason that East Asian Blepharoplasty (aka eye-opening plastic surgery) is so ubiquitous among Japanese, Korean, and other Asian performers, both male and female, and accounts for a staggering 64% of all surgical procedures performed in Japan... not unlike how so many Actors and singers in the U.S. go in for nose jobs, and the overwhelming majority of DAZ females have pert, petite little noses.  Thank goodness that all of that nonsense can be dialed in or out.

That DAZ products are created to be attractive to a prospective buyer rather than a perfect repesentation of reality, and that just because a product may not conform to ones personal perception of what is attractive, the use of the term "poorly made" to descibe that product is incorrect... something that is especially true when there is a great variance of opinion within the given group being represented as to what combination of features constitutes an idealized appearance.
