full window view

Can someone please how to get out of full window view (4.9). I can't get to all the drop downs.

    press F3 on your keyboard. On the Left side, scroll down to "window" and expand it. Right click "Full screen Mode" and select "change keyboard short cut". Now press CTRL and F11 to set that as the keyboard short.

    Thanks, but how do I get out of full window mode . I have no drop downs.

    In Windows, if you just hit the Esc key that will exit full screen mode.

    That did not work for me. F11...control f11, esc   nothing on the keyboard will take me out of full screen lighting.  Should I reset preferences...how do I do that?

    using the steps I posted you will be making the keyboard shortcut to enter/exit full screen.

    You should be able to use the keyboard combination you just made.

    The default is SHIFT+F11  ( if I recall correctly)
