Backgrounds

in New Users
Have a stupid question..
Bought a ton of items from the store and noticed that none of them, have like a background (Sky or something like that)
Are they also availble in the store, or do you need to create your own ones.. or search the web.
Like I have Westgate buildings and would like to have a night sky or whatever... In the examples in the store they have backgrounds, but not seeing them once i buy the items.
Thank you

You have several options.
You can use a flat 2D image from anywhere as a backdrop, but it won't be in reflections (which also means reflective objects like chrome, water, glass, etc. won't look right unless they have built-in fake reflections.) Or I suppose you could postwork your image over a 2D backdrop too.
You can use a backdrop object, like the millenium environment I think, which is actually in scene, but doesn't surround the scene, so you'll still have some of the reflective object issues.
You can use a skydome (at least in 3DL), basically an image on a sphere. If it's a full sphere that solves your reflection issues, because it completely surrounds your scene. There are also domes (the top half of a sphere, which probably assumes you have a plane for the ground), or boxes which I've not investigated.
Also look into Iray, I can't remember how it works but I think it has something similar to a skydome built in that you would use instead of using a skydome.
i did find in the store Worldbase-Xtreme-Kit
But seems like it has some issues with the floors.. but idk if that was with an old Daz studio version or in the current version
Are you doing 3DL or Iray? And here's how you do the backdrop- You go to Environment (Up in Windows>Panes (Tabs) open that pane, and then click where it says None and choose backdrop. Then you put an image on it.
Aah Thank you.
Bought that program that was on the store.. Extreme something.... now need to figure out, how to show that one somewhere.
