SaveGuard stopped working?

The [SaveGuard] script is still in my startup. But no saves have appeared in the save directory since Dec 27.

When I try to access the settings in the taskbar, nothing happens. There's a tiny window created that I can't open.

Uninstall reinstall fixed the second issue.

I have determined that this program doesn't watch the filesystem in a manner consistent with modern computer systems.

You have to list every directory, every subdirectory for it to watch. So if you start a new project in a new subdirectory, SaveGuard provides no protection unless you remember to go into the SaveGuard settings and add this new directory to the list of directories watches.

It is incredulous to me in 2025 that you can't just tell it "Watch all directories under directory X". There is no setting to make it watch the filesystem in this manner.

I am very disappointed in this product. In my workflow, each project might have save files in dozens of different subdirectories. Needing to list them each separately in this product is incompatible with that workflow.

This product does not work. Using in Windows 11 in Daz Studio 4.23.
