Stretched G9 figure when importing animation
For years I've been working with G8 figures and everything was alright, but when I tried to apply my animation workflow to G9, it went south. The animation is working, per se, but the figure is deformed, thin like a skeleton. I think I'm very close to achieve my goal but I won't make it without an outside help.
Current workflow working for G8 :
- Creation of the animation with rokoko studio
- Exporting the fbx file to Maya 2024.
- Importing a G9 figure with Daz to Maya bridge
- Baking the animation between the fbx and G9.
- Importing in DS ans scaling it down to 55% (originally at 107%)
- Saving it as a pose preset
- Loading a G9 figure with unlocked limits and nodes
- Merging the saved animation into the figure.
Original G9 and animated skeleton scaled down to 55% G9 merged with the pose preset
