  • So is there a way when putting in dimensions for a render that's going to take HOURS, to see a frame around the subject of the scene to know what important things will be in or out?

  • How big does it need to be, and what resolution (pixels per inch)? Multiply the sizes, in inches, by the PPI to get the required pixel size (you can do this in the Render Settings pane Editor tab size boxes in the - remember to turn Constrain Aspect off first). You would do well to allow a little extra around the edges, and not put anything vital there, to allow for inacccuracy in printing.

  • To see what will be included in the render enable Show Aspect Frame in the Viewport option menu - the lined button in the to-right corner or right-click the pane's tab.
