Can anyone ID this necklace? (KrashWerks)

Hi,

Can anyone help me identify the necklace with ring looped through it? All i know is that KrashWerks uses it on a lot of their figures and the earliest that i think they've used it is in Jul 2019. KrashWerks credits all items used in their promo pics except for this necklace. I'm thinking its either a custom piece that they made or maybe from something older like G3 or V4.

  • What i'm looking for is basically a plain wedding ring with a simple chain going through it. If the product above cant be ID'd maybe i can just take a necklace and ring and combine them via parenting and bones. Take a necklace with like a gem or pendant hanging off the front. Hide or delete the mesh of the gem/pendant on front and put a bone in its place. Take a ring and add a bone to it and then parent the ring-bone to the necklace-bone.  Does that make sense? would something like that work?

Is it for an animation? If not and it's just for static renders then you don't even need the bone. Just get a chain and ring that look similar if you can and position them suitably.

I can suggest Fabiana for a necklace. Her newer ones are dForce so they can lay nicely on the skin. They have Rigid follwer node where you would add an attachment, and you can parent the ring to that.

After simulation you probably want to agjust the ring to your liking.

Below image is using a necklace from this set https://www.daz3d.com/fk-dforce-luxe-chains-for-genesis-8-81-and-9-volume-1

The ring is one I made at some time.

    Find a suitable chain.

Find a suitable ring (a simple torus primitive might do the job)

You don't need a bone, just create a rigid follow node on the necklace and parent the ring to that.

  • Thanks for the necklace suggestion felis and for the idea with using a torus and follow node chris. Sofa it's gonna have a bit of animation so the necklace will sway away and towards the body and the ring will follow.
