Turn off Sky?

in Daz 4.8 there's a Sun-Sky render option in Iray, but I'm trying to light a planet...so thre should be only the sun and no fill light from a surrounding "sky".  So is there a way to turn off the "sky" part of the "sun sky only" option?

    I'm not near my computer ATM so this is from memory but you can turn the sky colour to black which I think shuts off any lighting influence. I keep mine at a deep black/blue for when I do night scenes but that is for earths atmosphere.

    Not sure if I understood you right. Have you tried to turn the Draw Dome option OFF?
