materials all black :(

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hi! 

I haven't been in the forums   enough these days so I probably posted this question in the wrong place, which I can not now find. I just updated to the new version. When I load gen 9 anime male base, the materials are all black. I can't see what I'm doing when I try posing his face,so it's not nearly as much fun. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I've tried putting other skins on him.

    It needs Filament plugin enabled and an Environment light loaded from G9 Starter Essentials.

    I uninstalled the g9 essentials and reinstalled them, and it's fixed! He's grey, not with his normal skin, but it is good enough for me.

    The render doesn't come out right anymore. I tried to attach an image, but I'm trying again now :) Thank you for your thoughts!

    Just noticed you use a Mac system, Filament does not support Mac by now...

    I have a windows machine that i've used for DAZ for many years. I think it's just not good enough anymore. Everytime I load the gen 9 anime male figure Daz gets an error and just shuts down. So I bought a new computer today. I'll be here in a few days. I hope that will solve my issues.

    What is the error you get? Are you sure you installed all the requirements (the latest version of DS default resources for example) on your Windows machine?
