Anthropomorphic Characters - What Are They Called ?

If I want to search the DAZ store of anthropomorphic characters, is there a keyword OTHER than anthropomorphic for me to use as a keyword? Anthropomorphic doesn't bring up all the characters the term is applicable to.
Maybe DAZ could invest in an AI search tool for the store?

There is no unified term that anthro characters use in the Daz store. AM has his Anthropomorphs (one of which isn't an anthropomorph at all, but rather a realistic chimpanzee), Joe Quick his Storybook series (and a few anthro characters outside of that labeling, MAB and WillDupre don't seem to indicate anthropomorphism for any of their characters like Tomcat outside of the word "furry" in the description, and so on.
There really should be a filter for them. And for toon content now, too.
Toon has been a searchable genre for quite a while.
Oso has a lot of high quality ones as well.
"Furry" has been the generic term for many, many years, but that term does come loaded with a bit of an adult context that DAZ probably tries to avoid.
or pay someone to tag them
Joe Quick, Alessandro_AM, OSO3D, and RawArt have most, although there are others. DAZ Originals has a few, the Centaurs for example but that's more legend than strictly anthopomorphic. Also the others in the list are a mix of true antropomorphic and legendary types.
Interestingly, I just searched "fox" and filtered for humans, and OsoDreamer's Vulpinefolk Reynard and Reyna didn't show up. They did appear, however, when I filtered for humanoid creatures.
Centaurs aren't anthropomorphs in that they're not a humanized animal, but rather a human/animal hybrid. Oso's Horseman, on the other hand, IS an anthro horse.
Er, DAZ Originals has MORE than just a few... WuKong is the most recent, but there have been several every generation, things like the Reptilian, multiple variations of the Minotaurs, etc. That said, the biggest single vendor... or in this case vendor pairing... would have to be the combo of RDNA and Lady Littlefox, who have produced hundreds of stand-alone characters in lines like the Peaches/Pickles & Plushies series, as well as the massive collection of Aiko/Hiro based Melody & Micah products, which cover a crazy variety of species and sub-species with their Furries add-ons.
I tend to use the term 'anthro' but I think I often toss in 'furry' in the keywords, even if the classification is debated, like with Crowkin.
AI search is inevitable. It may as well be now.
Thanks, that's what i meant by a 'legendary' type. I was going to call them monsters but that ain't always that either. Most people think Furries and Kids cartoons from Disney & such I think.
I don't know if that's needed. There just needs to be an expansion of classifications of certain products, which would be needed anyway for the AI to properly search for it. We have enough anthro animal characters where they can be filtred out for those who want them.
