Problem with Anatomical details

Hi all, I'm very new to Daz and anything 3d modelling related, and I have a question. I'm using the Genesis 3 female and I have a genital morph. When I apply it, it works but it's grey. The file came with a 'template'. I used Photoshop and the template to overlay a skin color and then applied it using the surfaces tab in Dazstudio. But the skin color isn't right and it looks out of place. How does one go about making it look more natural and blend into the rest of the skin? Thank you in advance!

It looks like you are most of the way there. What I would do, is load the origianl skin texture into Photoshop (or similar) and sample the colour with the eye dropper tool, and apply that to the new texture. Have you tried that?
Is it a morph or a geo-graft?
If it is a morph it shouldn't need a texture, it just alters the mesh with the existing texture on it.
If it's a geo-graft have you tried selecting the Anatomical Element in the Scene tab then applying the base texture from Smart Content/Content Library?
Edit: Hmmm... I don't have any "Anatomical Elements" for 7th generation (G3F/M) models. Going on earlier generations.
That's what I was thinking of doing when I get home from work. Good idea, thanks :-).
It must be a geo-graft then because it adds it separately. I looked through the folders it installed and it has no texture files at all with it. Just a 'template' with a flat wireframe of the shapes on it.
Howdy, if the skin you are applying has the anatomical elements included, you can just re-apply the original texture to the geo-graft. Select the graft, and then apply the texture as you would a normal model. If the skin does not already have the texture, you will have to do as you are already trying. Good luck!

Genesis 3 uses its own UV map for the anatomical geograft, so you would need dedicated textures for them. Many figures, including Victoria 7, include these along with the character. For any other, you will have to either make do with morphs or create your own textures instead.
