Can turbo loader be applied to only specific character?

It seems after I set one character of gf8, the settings are also aplied automatically to another gf8 characters.

No, it shouldn't. Turbo Loader activates / deactivates morphs just by Product, so for Character, you select and check one Character Product, it will just deactivate or activate the morph files under that character's data folder, by renaming them.

But be noted, if you deactivate morph files under one single product, DO deactivate them all rather than some of them otherwise you'll have ERC link issue.

Well, I'm experiencing the problem above.
    What could be happening?

Is it because I'm loading the charactrer from subset?

I was testing on Mikassa, Zsazsa and V3D Polly.
But they share the same settings apparently.

Oh, since you say so, there might be this sort of case though I don't think there should be ... Unfortunately I don't have them. You can just look into their data folder while activating / deactivating the morphs in Turbo Loader, check the changes of DSF files...

You may get some clues ~~

    Genesis 9 also the same.

All that I see if a morph is disabled, it is gone from the original folder.

It doesn't make sense. They should be just renamed

What do you mean by "It seems after I set one character of gf8, the settings are also aplied automatically to another gf8 characters."? Disabling a Genesis 8 Female morph will disable it on all Genesis 8 Females since ti works directly on the files adding the morphs to the figure on load.

Well, the tutorial video of turbo loader seems able to keep individual settings for each characters.
    I could be wrong...

    Per figure, not per character.

Actually OP is right, Turbo Loader groups and list morphs per product, i.e. in this case, per Character product. So, activation and deactivation should be always done per character product ~~

I may have misunderstood, but the disabling or enabling applies to all character/figure loads built on the base figure selected?

The action of disabling / enabling is just done on the products and/or morphs that a user check and select in the Turbo Loader product list... and as default, all Genesis figures are filtered out from the list so as to prevent them from being deactivated accidentally.

I asked the developer on youtube:

Can turbo loader be applied to only specific character? It seems after I set one character of gf8, the settings are also aplied to another gf8 characters.

    He explained:

Every G8F morph applies, or can potentially apply, to every G8F character. Turning a morph off for one character turns them off for all.

So it changes per figure, then.

To be exactly, we're talking about different things:

    1) The way how Turbo Loader works. Turbo Loader lists, activates / deactivates (enables / disables) morphs firstly per Product (no matter Character Product, Morph Product ...)  That seems the question you asked in this thread's title and what I explained.

    2) The way how a Morph file (dsf) affects a Genesis figure, i.e.  a) an activated (enabled) morph can be loaded, seen, dialed and take effect in Parameters pane; b) an deactivated (disabled) Morph cannot... That's more likely what RiverSoftArt replied. Of course, you cannot find disabled morphs on a figure, in fact it's irrelevant to any Character anymore.... That's more likely what Richard said.

Back to the question you further asked: Can turbo loader be applied to only specific character? It seems after I set one character of gf8, the settings are also aplied to another gf8 characters.

The more accurate answer should be more or less a mix of the above points:

Yes, Turbo Loader, as default, applies enablement / disablement per Character / Morph Product based on your selection in Product List. If you disable the morphs under a G8F Character Product (e.g. Victoria 8), you won't find them in G8F figure's property list in Parameter pane, but actually it won't affect another character, let's say Aiko 8 because Aiko 8 doesn't use Victoria 8's morphs...

    Yike ~~~ devil

If Aiko is G8 Figure, why it doesn't share the same morphs as  Victoria 8 which is also G8?

From independent character product perspective, they don't share any of their exclusive morphs from one another.

    Which morphs are they?
    The head and body morph?

Both, as well as corrective morphs.
