I look at the DAZ Document Center, and it says DAZ Legacy Products should not be iinstalled in 4.8.

Er, Legacy; is that products that aren't .duf, like the old DS installers/files of years ago, such as:14257_DynamicNightwearV4_1.0_ds.exe just as one example ??

Or is this type of file okay to install into DS4X??

    Legacy is usually the pre 4.5, or even pre 4.0, content. However, I think Legacy si also being used for the pre 4.9 Iray sahders where an update has been required for the fixed SSS issue in 4.9.

    I'm confused. If I have an older folder that contains both a *.PS and a *.DS installer of a product, I can install (manually) the Poser, but not the DAZ into 4.8 or 9??

    If there's both a DS and a Legacy version, use the DS version in DS4.5+
