OK, can we not panic THIS soon? Every time DAZ does anything, half of the forum turn into Chicken Littles.
Ok, guys, I've rounded up all the Premiere questions threads and merged them. It's easier if we can keep all the questions in one place (to track them, to make sure people can find answers/solutions/discussions). If it is sale related, still post those to https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/685096/new-year-new-sales-thread-report-issues-here-reporting-only#latest
I know there's a lot of questions right now. Please help us help you find your answers. Point others (if we miss threads) to this one please.
Thank you.
Your beleaguered moderators.
I have purchased a lot of things in the past two months, and I doubt that the features and bundles provided by the Premier are mostly things I have purchased. I hope there is more information.
Not withstanding the fact I haven't found a way to pay for Premier...
- My Daz+ is not refundable. All I can do is say "Don't rebill me in 2026".
- And yes. My Daz+ does not expire until May 2026. That isn't a typo, I have paid for another 18 months, or $100 of membership.
- There does not seem to be an upgrade path.
So what am I expected to do if I want the new features? Just suck it up? I doubt that, but at the moment, that's the only answer I have!
From the reporting thread.
And in the Daz+ forum, Jack Tomalin also said it's a visual bug.
Existing tokens seems to have been extended: the two I had and who are suppose to expire in three days are now valid for 13 days.
Hey, that’s very interesting. Thanks for this. I see that my situation is the same. If I go to https://www.daz3d.com/subscription, I see my Daz+ subscription still active. But if I go to https://www.daz3d.subscription/memberships, I show up as free tier. I suppose there is some administrative need to keep the annual subscriptions listed separately from the monthly ones, but previously purchased annual ones appear not to have been canceled after all. That’s nice.
The membership-site stays Base membership, but can still access the Daz+-only forum.
I assume its a glitch. Just as not being able to buy Premiere at the moment is a glitch, because no link brings you there :-)
I think that if they could not launch this flawlessly they should not have launched it AT ALL. I had over a year left of my membership and now it says I have none left? That's NOT the way to get me to subscribe to something FOUR TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE ON TOP OF WHAT I HAD BEFORE!
Our subscriptions are still active and the new page showing us as Base member is a bug, as per Cris Palomino (quoted in my previous message) and Jack Tomalin (who said it in the Daz+ forum).
That's a bug in the new page. This shows your my membership correctly as someone mentioned above.

The character converter is what I'm mostly interested in, so here is a frank question;
What does the Premier converter do better than Manfriday's or RSSY's? Does it convert HD morphs? Does it avoid the cascading effect of a character having multiple morphs looking like they went through a mangler?
New message about upgrading your Daz+ membership...
Actually, I probably would pay for it. But not until there's a clear answer about the upgrade path. Maybe I'm the record holder with 18 months left on Daz+ (?) but I'm sure plenty of people have a long period.
And can someone point me at the signup page? It seems broken! Thanks!
never mind
Incredibly sage advice.
This. That's what I was wondering if we could do with the sculpting tools. If we can create HD morphs, I'm very interested. If not, meh. I'll just continue my workflow as is.
To repeat, nothing has been taken away.. if you can't see your current membership - it's a bug which is being worked on.
You may find this page useful:
Here is a page that is live that helps explain the added features in Studio: https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-premier
My Daz+ membership was paid up through mid-2026 as well. I DO expect the Daz sales team to honor that agreement, so I'm very curious to see how this is handled.
Also, I very much would prefer to continue the 'discounted' annual billing for such things in the future, should anyone on the Daz sales team care about such things.
Like most, I am wondering about my, current and paid for, subscription. I am also wondering about his "New" version of Studio for premier subscribers. Is this a for runner to Studio being a paid for program?
makes me think of this scene from Empire
What pricing do people with long periods left on Daz+ get if they want to upgrade? Or do they get a refund?
True, and if DAZ Studio Premiere is as dependent upon being logged in to DAZ as I expect it to be, then I seriously doubt that it will even be able to cope with the massive amounts of files on my harddrives or the size of my average render.
I guess DAZ doesn't want my money. I tried subscribing to Premier using PayPal and it doesn't work. I tried manually inputting my credit card info and it ends up in an infinite loading screen. Payment is not working for me. Thanks for saving my $20. I haven't subscribed to DAZ+ for a long time now and I wanted to check if this new membership tier is worth it.
Reading through the comments, looks like they rolled out this tier before checking if it's going to conflict with current DAZ+ subscriptions.
Not to brag, but my Daz+ renewal date is (was) 4-12-2029
••••••Free robust character bundles monthly••••••
I want more information on this. It's very vague and vague isn't a reassuring selling point. Anyone have access to "the list" they are offering for free or what-have-you? 'Cos, I'm really doubting they will be selling something like Sophia 9 Space Mechanic Pro Bundle or Zahara 9 Pro Bundle for $18.95 a month...? Are they starter bundles, add-on bundles? And for what Genesis Generation?
OK, that must surely be the record!
A couple of questions, first about content:
And then one about Daz Studio Premier. My guess is we only have access to Daz Studio Premier if we have an active subscription, but unlike the 'exclusive Premier Only content', it's not clearly written on this page. It's also presented as a paid software: will it be possible to pay for it without a subscription ?
Especially when it's a rental of features that are already available as a free program.
