Question to "SFD Omni Shaders for Strand Based Hair"

Hi,

on the product description you say "Please note that the shader presets are only working correctly with "Strand Based Hair" that is supposed to be used with the OmniHair Shader."

So: which are?

And btw: Why aren't I allowed to post the question in the related forum cateory?

    Which? If you tried starting a new thread in the Daz PA Commercial forum then it was because you are not a Daz PA, and in any event the thread would not be announcing/supporting a product. You should be able to reply to an existing thread there.

    just because a product says something doesnt mean it makes sense.

    I havent looked at the shader preset details, but if it's an omnihair shader it can be used on any SBH

    I think what they (badly) tried to say was that strand-based hair is the type of hair the shader is supposed to be used on, not that there are some strand-based hairs it works with and some it doesn't. AFAIK it works on all of them.

    I think what they (badly) tried to say was that strand-based hair is the type of hair the shader is supposed to be used on, not that there are some strand-based hairs it works with and some it doesn't. AFAIK it works on all of them.

    Though some may need settings adjusted, at least for eficiency.
