Genesis 9 Poses Unlock Rotation Limits
Hi all,
I'm having a particularly intrusive issue lately. Whenever I create a pose and save it as a Pose Preset, certain rotations have their limits removed and are adjusted to a seemingly arbitrary number.
For instance, the "Twist" rotation on the Actor's Right Hand will be saved at -10, the max while limited. When loaded onto an Actor, it changes to an unlimited -22.53. This mostly happens with the hands, fingers, feet, and toes, but I've caught it happening to other bones with a maxed rotation. See the pictures attached for a visual.
I'm at a loss. This is all on default Gen9 with nothing added, save materials. I've reinstalled Essentials, which had no effect.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks ya'll

If you go to Edit>Preferences (Daz Studio>Preferences on a Mac) and switch to its Content tab what is When importing a Pose/Shaping file that exceeds limits set to?
Your screenshots seems not in line with the instance as you said... Anyway, here's the mechanism:
As default, Min / Max value range on joints Rotations is set as Use Limits. However, some Pose Control dials may set values exceeding the limits (or you ever set a value exceeding the limits then Use Limits was by chance turned on...). Then that value is stored in Raw (-22.53) though you still see -10 set in Twist property. If you click that Gear icon on Twist property, you'll see two fields: Value and Raw. They're different.
A Pose Preset always saves Raw values. If you, in F2 > Content tab, choose Always turn limits on, when you apply Pose Preset, it'll just set the Twist value to Min (-10) though Raw is -22.53. But if you choose Always turn limits off, it'll directly uncheck Use Limits and set Twist value as -22.53.
So, just check the settings and the values ~
Thanks for the replies ya'll!
This has been solved and all of the help was greatly appreciated!
