Diffeomorphic - Changing Rigging type (Simple IK, MHX, Rigify, etc)

I don't know if it is possible, but sometimes I'm working on a character and convert the default rig to a Simple IK for example, then, in the future, I want to convert again to MHX or Rigify but these options are now grayed out.

Is there a way to convert back to the default rig or just change it with another one? Tried a lot of things and didnt get anywhere.

    No it is not possible to go back. The suggested practice is to backup the figure if you did modifications, to eventually change some morphs or the rig later. Or re-export from daz studio.
