DAZ Studio Pro 4.22 update broke everything

I tried to install DAZ Studio Pro 4.22 update with DIMM and it wouldn't install correctly and broke DAZ Studio. Downloaded it manually and that wouldn't install either. Submitted a ticket.

Broke how? If you mean the UI is all white then this is because Daz Studio had not fully shut down when the upgrade happened. Uninstall and Reinstall via DIM usually fixes that.
Finally got it to install. And everything was closed and and set for the download and installation -- but it first refused to install repeatedly. Then, it would hang halfway thru and the previous version was gone. Then, after shutting the computer down and rebooting, it couldn't find the right directory. Finally I just shut it all down and let it sit. Rebooted and searched for it in DIM -- and this time it installed...
