Template?

I am not new to this, but with 4.9, it seems that the template file has either moved or been done away with in regards to older products. I have some V4 characters and skins from other sites (at least 2 years old or more), and now I cannot use them as I cannot find where to put the template file. Anyone know where it should go as I have tried in the my daz 3d library as just a new folder to no avail, the characters do not show up in the list in 4.9.

    Templates are only usful for creating your own texture files from scratch.   They are blank UV maps, and are not required at all to load a texture, so something else is wrong.

    What problem are you having in loading these character texture maps, and where are you loading them from, templates are not requirred for this.
