G9 figures = no cutout opacity?

I just realized G9 figures have no cutout opacity option, this is such a cool feature and not technically diffcult to include as a legacy feature, why remove it all together?
Will it be added in future roadmap?

It's not not something that was removed for G9 figures, it's because the PBR Skin shader they use doesn't have that option. It's the same for G8.1 figures using that shader.
Not sure why the PBR Skin shader doesn't have it, probably because it would cause problem for the computations it does. I doubt it will be added.
It wasn't removed from G9, but from the PBRSkin shader. You can apply Iray Uber to your G9 figures if you like, or you can get PBRSkin Plus.
PBRSkin doesn't have Cutout because it's intended for skin, and skin has volume. Turning on Cutout forcibly disables volume effects, and thus makes no sense for a skin shader. This is a limitation in the renderer and cannot be changed.
Thank you! it worked perfectly!! it seem to be the fastest fix without breaking anything, wish it was there from the begining since character looked exactly the same after applied iray uber
Iray Uber and PBRSkin are largely the same shader, PBRSkin just has some different functions that are optimized for skin, like the lack of opacity and the addition of detail normals.
