Slow load times after moving 3d Library

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I moved my Daz 3D Library to a bran-new external drive and now all my projects take 10 minutes to open (they used to take 1 minute at the most.) Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to fix this other than moving it back?

    Many variables here, especially speed of the drive and what USB port it's plugged in to.

    It's neither of those things, it's bran new, super fast and i tried multiple ports.

    Did you also clear the Daz Studio cache or change the cache location to the new drive? Maybe Daz Studio is rebuilding its cache. If you open the same scene again, is it just as slow oris it faster than the first time?

    Good thought, but it's just as slow. I moved the Daz Library back and now it's fast again.
