DAZ Store Products

If the DAZ store says a product is for DAZ Stiudio, is it specifically saying it's not compatible with 4,8 or 4.9? Or is it that they just haven't gotten around to changing the verbiage?

Usually I notice most products labeled this wayhave been Genesis when I see this.

Thank you

I suspect that it would mean that it can be used on legacy versions, as well as the up to date versions of DS.

"Daz Studio" only means they were made for older versions of DS. I think they started using 2 different tags when they introduced .duf format in DS 4.5 since earlier versions can't use that format, but it might have been with DS4.

Content tagged "Daz Studio" only should work fine in newer versions, but for example you won't have Iray materials.

Plugins tagged "Daz Studio" only may not work with newer versions at all (for example some older Dreamlight plugins work in DS 3 only), so check the description or ask in the forums before buying.
