Daz 4.9 does not recognize email and password

DS 4.9.0.63 does not recognise my email and password. I had the same issue with the beta. I have no trouble connecting to Daz from the DIM.

Also, it displays an error stating it cannot find postgreSQL. I've reinstalled postgreSQL and get the same message.

All my content seems to be there though.

Verify that your firewall allows DAZ studio to connect to the Internet.
If this is the case, try removing the existing rule to recreate a new one.

I've got the same issue sad I'll try the firewall, if I can figure out how to get in there blush

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I fixed it on my system by starting the CMS from the little dropdown to the right of Smart Content tab. Then I could login using the green login button (this was after futzing with the firewall for a loooong time).

  • I ran into this, and support wasn't able to help, but I passed it along when I figured it out. You have to login to your account on the web-page, then click on your icon on top right, drop down to messages, then select license agreement, click agree. Then when you restart DAZ the login will work. Got to love those nice 'clear and helpful' error message right? :)

    Nope, that didn't work.

And that didn't work either. I still get the same errors, and it says my email/password is wrong.

EDIT: I went back in, stopped the CMS, then restarted it, and no change. Login attempt failed. Who do I need to contact exactly to roll back to 4.8? I'm done with this

I put in a ticket at the help desk. Based on looking around the forums, not many people are having this problem....so it may be a long wait.

I put in a request for a rollback to 4.8, I did get an acknowledgement but so far that's it.
