Do hidden items in the scene lower the total resource load?
I am looking to make my scenes more optimized to keep my workspace and the Iray preview running smoothly and light.
So I ask, if I were to hide parts of my characters in the scene that extend outside the camera view, will this have a positive impact on the scene performance or is it insignificant that I should not bother to take the time to hide everything outside the camera view manually?
I also wonder if deleting useless items from the scene frees up memory as it seems that Daz remembers deleted items and the more I load objects to the scene, even if I end up deleting them, the workspace only gets slower and slower until I restart the software completely.
I would appreciate any other tips and tricks to further optimize my scenes to keep them light and running smoothly. Thank you.

Anything that is hidden (Visible off) is not sent to the render engine. As ana side, things which are made invisible through the Surfaces pane are still sent.
