So I opened http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/48935/start and noticed all these colorful lines and I honestly cant see anything as there are too many lines in the way. Any idea what setting handles this ? the items are not even Selected, its like Select All is On constantly.

The lines represent rays of light cast from all those spotlight objects in the scene. You could select all the lights and uncheck Visible in Viewport.
Wow, cant believe I didnt notice this, had a real dumb moment there. Havent opened a scene and had so many lights enabled.
...
So before I hit post I noticed that it was kind of silly for me to make such a mistake after using daz for some time. Going to launch Daz quickly and just confirm.
In Iray, the lights' lines are not visible - but in this Underground scene the lights' lines stay visible even in iray.
Is there a setting that makes the lines visible Always or something ? In both screenshots, I have deselected the main Lights
The yellow lines are show third, and can be disabled in the viewport tab menu (the 3 bars in the corner)
The red-green-yellow cross is world center.
sorry for not being clear.
I mean the lines froming the Light objects. As you can see in the Pre-made Scene, all the Lights are visibe AND the lines too. but when I test with Lights and a Cube, I dont have the same experience.
I am mainly asking how I turn off the lines without "Visible in Viewport" being turned off as I didnt need to do that in my Test. When Light is deselected the Lines do not appear but in the Screenshot from First Post, all the lines show even when unselected. So this is a Setting right? can I turn it off? all this clutter is hard to work with.
Select the light and in the Parameters pane, under Display, set Ray Length to 0 turn off Display Persistence (sorry, reread the post and realised the first answer was not what you were wanting)
As Richard said, filter Light first, Expand All. Ctrl + A to select all. Turn on Cosolidate Properties... set Display Persistence to Off. (ss1 ~ 2)
Richard I wish I could kiss you man.
Spent all day, gave up working with the entire premade scene just because I could not get good visibility (all the lines/hud elements).
Display Persistence! That was it. so nice and clean now.
Thanks, learnt a new thing - I have been in many situations where I needed to see those lines of unselected items so I would just guess.
