Your DS 'content folder' will be the one shown under Preferences (F2 key) - I can't recall the exact details of how you get there once you have the prefernces dialog up as I don't have access to Daz Studio just now, but you need to select one of the tabs (I think it's last but one from the right) and then click on a button toward the bottom of the scenn and then expand a list ... yeah, sorry! :) It'll be VERY likely to end in 'My Library' or 'My DAZ Library'. That is the base content library. From memory the free optitex zips start with a folder named after the freebie which contains another zip called content.zip. You need to copy the contents of that content.zip into the 'My Library' folder.

Now having access to DS ...
Menu option: Edit> Preferences (or presss F2 key), Content Library Tab, Content Directory Manager button, expand Daz Studio formats list

Thankyou Simon,
i will try what you say , much appreciated
