walk animation skirt

I'm starting out in animation with old models and I have a problem with the skirts, they don't follow the character's legs. Any tutorial or clue on how to make the skirt move with the animation without having to move frame by frame?  i saw an video years ago what use null to follow but can't found

Which skirt? Is it a fitted item, with bones, or is it a pure dForce item that needs simulating?

And it is fitted? Can you pose it with the bones? Are the bones the same as the figure's?

Yes have bones , I can move it but I don't want to adjust it frame by frame. I want it to follow the leg automatically in case I make changes to the animation. no need chage the skirt too.  i see a tutorial years ago but can't find the chanel  dont exist anymore.

Those are non-standard bone names, so they will not follow the leg bones - that is how it is designed to work.
