3d print hair

hi,

I'm currently have a SLA Printer and I was wondering how to make the hair of a model print.

I know that there is some option to make the face of a model ready to print, I usualy do that.

if I export the hair then try to make the model ready to print (watertight ect ...)  netfabb (the program) crash...

Too many variable the hair geometry being so thin ect...

do any of you know how to adress this? or AM I condamned to print in 1/6 and hope to find BJD wigs that fit the bill ...

Thank you.

I have not used my Davinci printer much due to issues with fumes and needing it plugged into PC to load the job making moving it impossible.

    but

my solution was in carrara adding thickness to the hair geometry and extruding it inside the head

other modelers should be able to do this too, I do not know a way in DAZ studio alone.

    Thank you,

I find one in cinema 4D, call the explosion affector (go figure...) but it is more of an exploi, than a actual technique... I have a serial for carrera so I'm gonna test it.
