Render is way to light
I have set up a nice low key scene with a couple of lights. When I render the scene i still can see the effect of my lights but the whole scene is like in the sun. Most of my lights are just washed out and the remaining shadows are not corect either.
Is there a general light source I have to swithc of?
Thanks for anyone how can help.

Iray?
Without seeing a picture, I am guessing that you either need to turn off the default scene light called the headlamp, or dial down the default environment.
Select your rendering camera in the scene tab, and on the parameters tab, go the headlamp property. Change the Headlamp mode from Auto to Off.
Over on the render settings tab, go to the Environment property and change the environment mode to Scene only, or turn the Enviromnent Intensity down to .1 or .2 or so to get you started.
Ignore the part about the Environment if you are not using Iray. Screen shots down there. Hope it helps.
Thanks for the info DestinysGarden. I was having the same issue and changing the Environment Intensity solved the problem.
Happy to help, Ashes.
Mr. Junk, how is it going?
