Question about VDB Laser Blades and Poses
I seem to be having a number of problems with Daz lately I can't figure out, and here is the latest one.
As said in the title, my question is about this product: https://www.daz3d.com/vdb-laser-blades-and-poses
When I load one of the 'Laser Swords' (there HAS to be another name for them...^_^), and apply the given shaders to both the blade and the volume, the blade always shows as white, no matter what color I use.
In the attached example I used a Red blade, and a Green volume, against a black wall I had for a background.
You can see the green volume nicely, and you can even see a bit of red color on the wall in the back from the blade, but the blade itself comes out white.
I'm not sure why this is, but its the same with a couple of other 'laser sword' props I have, so I suspect its something with Daz overall and not the specific products.
Anybody else out there run into such a problem (and a possible fix, if it exists)?

Try doing a full render, just in case it is a preview issue only.
Sadly, the first image IS a full render (no extra lights in the scene or anything).
I don't have the perfect system for high quality renders, but I can EASILY handle something like this, so don't know why its looking like that.
Seriously thinking about the arduous process of doing a fresh install of Daz and all its elements.....which means digging up YEARS of old files to reinstall them as well......sigh........

Ah, so I guess it is working properly, according to the examples in the link, I was just expecting a darker red (or whatever color) to the blade, but I now see that even in the product examples the 'blade' is white.
