FSL Flexible Auras and Halos issue [solved]
I'm having an odd issue with FLS Flexible Auras & Halos (https://www.daz3d.com/fsl-flexible-auras-and-halos). I load the prop, I highlight the prop, I apply a material, and it doesn't apply. When rendered, it just shows a big blank circle (or whatever) instead of lights. I also tried highlighting the surfaces as if I was applying a shader (and also, highlighting the surfaces and applying the shaders included for use on regular ol' objects) and still nothing.
I double-checked to make sure it's Iray-compatible, and it says it is. I checked for an instruction manual, and there wasn't one (at least that I could find). Which makes sense as I'm pretty sure you're just supposed to click the material and it works.
I'm sure this is a giant error-between-keyboard-and-chair issue, as I haven't seen anything in the forums that others are having issues, but...
Anyone have an idea on what manner of "duh" moment I'm missing here?

I checked this product and found they work just well. Be noted that the material presets / shader presets are made for corresponding shape of Props, i.e. Arc presets are just for Arc Prop, Oval for Oval... yada yada~
Pls dbl-check if you applied them correctly.
....that would be the "well duh" part I missed. I was going from the Products listing (instead of down through props) so it wasn't separated out, and I was looking at the pictures and not the file names. Many thanks! Glow effects activated!
Yea, if you access the product in Smart Content or Product list, better Show Assets in > Content Library
You're welcome !
Lesson learned!
I didn't have the brain cells to fight the eyeball rigging battle tonight, so I figured I'd go for some instant-ish gratification and add a quick magic effect to a scene I already had made up.
... and then it just sat there and I thought, "well holy heck what NOW??"
Render is now happily chugging away with magic effect in place, and I'll have a new wallpaper before I go to bed. :)
That'll be nice ! Have fun and good nite !
